This means changing your lifestyle and diet, to incorporate these cancer-preventing foods to lower your risk:

1. Bright fruits and veggies
If a vegetable is vibrating brightly colored pigments, you can be sure that is has a ton of amazing nutrients and minerals in it. Carotenoids are what is found in most berries, sweet potatoes, and citrus fruits. These will help to fight cancers in your eyes, skin, and organs.

2. Broccoli
When you are a kid your parents tell you to eat your broccoli, so you can grow to be big and strong. Although that’s not the only thing it can do. It contains important enzymes that help protect your body from harmful substances like environmental pollutants.

3. Nuts and seeds
Flaxseeds and chia seeds are two of the best seeds that you can add to your everyday diet. They are the most nutrient-dense seeds out there. They provide important omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and a variety of important minerals.

4. Teas
While black or oolong teas are good to combat cancer, the best type would be green tea like matcha. It has the highest percentage of polyphenolic compounds, gallocatechin, EGCG, and catechin. EGCG is the most potent cancer fighter at about 25 to 100 times more effective than vitamins E and C.

5. Whole grains
Whole grain bread can be a bit of a switch from the bland, white sandwich bread that you may be used to. Once you get used to it, you will be amazed at how filling and tasty it actually is. It contains plenty of saponins and antioxidants that can be used to fight or prevent cancer.

6. Fatty fish
Mackrel, salmon, and sardines are all anti-inflammatory fish that are packed with omega-3. Omega-3 is great to help prevent cancer, but it can also help reduce the side effects of chemotherapy. It improves the brain, nervous system, and hormonal health.

7. Fresh herbs
Tumeric and fresh garlic are two of the best things you can add to your food. Tumeric has been proven to reduce tumor size and fight against breast and colon cancer. Raw garlic can be used to boost your immune system as well as speed DNA repair and kill cancer cells. Some other spices and herbs that you should incorporate would be thyme, ginger, cayenne pepper, oregano, parsley, and basil.
